Being Grateful – A Moment of Connection

Entry from Sunday, February 4, 2024

Today, I’d like to share a short but honest moment with you – a moment of gratitude.

I am grateful for …

  • my husband
  • my children
  • my sister

For each of these people, I feel deep gratitude. When I think of them, I realize how much love and stability they bring into my life. It fills me with a feeling that is hard to describe – but it brings a smile to my face.

Gratitude feels light, almost like an inner sigh of relief. It opens the heart, calms the mind, and makes even grey days appear brighter.

I truly believe that this attitude – pausing consciously to recognize the good – is one of the greatest sources of strength in life.

Every day, I look forward to the little beautiful moments. And sometimes, happiness begins with just one simple thought:

"I am grateful."
