Be Thankful – Part 2
Being thankful makes everyday life easier

Being thankful – I’ve written about this before in a very short and simple post. But at its core, it’s one of the most important topics in all of our lives
“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.” (Cicero, Roman statesman and philosopher, 106 BC – 43 BC)
I found this quote on a wonderful website:
Dankbar sein – 44 Zitate –> This link takes you to the website!
Being thankful – and doing so with full awareness and from the heart – can truly change so much over time. You can be grateful for everything in life, and when that gratitude comes from deep within, the feeling behind it can be so intense that it sometimes even hurts. Some people say it’s not easy. Well, I see it a bit differently – because you can be thankful for everything you already have.
Start with the smallest things...

- …like a coffee in the morning
- …the roof over your head
- …the slippers you're wearing
- …the last piece of bread still at home
- …your favorite T-shirt
- …and so on.
This little list is meant as a small guide for those who want to change something in their lives. Through the daily practice of keeping a gratitude journal, I, too, have experienced a transformation
hrough this transformation, I’ve realigned my focus and finally decided to step out of the current system. By doing so, I can also help others see that – and what – is going wrong in our world.
To start practicing gratitude, all we really need is a pen and a piece of paper – something everyone has at home. Of course, you can use special journals that are available to buy, but that’s not necessary. A simple notebook or writing pad is more than enough. So there's no big investment needed to get started – and therefore, no excuse not to.
I’m looking forward to your feedback and...
...wish you lots of joy on your personal journey of transformation.
